The Role

Intesa, a company of the Kyndryl Group, as part of its growth and positioning as a centre of innovation and digital transformation, is looking for a Machine Learning Ops Engineer.

As a Machine Laerning Ops Engineer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. As a Machine Learning Ops Engineer you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of the solution, from the model creation/training phase to the deployment in a production environment; you will also manage the DevOps/MLOps operations applied to the AI services, ensuring that state-of-art best practices are met.

The goal of the AI team is to develop cutting-edge products in areas ranging from Computer Vision to NLP.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines;
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python;
• Experience in using one or more Machine Learning and Deep Learning libraries (PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn) for creating or training models;
• Good knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms;
• Good knowledge of the Linux environment;
• Good knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, in particular Docker;
• Excellent knowledge of CI/CD best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
• Propensity for teamwork and research;
• Good knowledge of English (B2 or above).

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience in creating and cleaning datasets;
• Experience in the use of SQL and NO-SQL databases;
• Experience in interacting with LLM and using LangChain;
• Familiarity with one or more cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes

Location: Hybrid with headquarters in Turin-Milan
