SAP Basis Specialist

We are looking for several highly experienced SAP Basis Specialists – Security & Authorizations . The primary responsibilities include managing roles and profiles using PFCG, maintaining robust authorization concepts based on the Least Privilege principle and Segregation of Duties (SoD), and supporting ongoing SAP projects. Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st-level support for SAP Authorizations and SAP Basis operations, including incident management and service request handling
• Maintain and administer SAP users, roles, and profiles using the SAP Profile Generator (PFCG), including both single and composite roles
• Develop and maintain authorization concepts following the principle of least privilege
• Analyze and remediate critical authorizations while preventing Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts
• Perform SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, transport management, technical user administration, and interface support
• Support SAP projects, including role redesign initiatives, system migrations, and the implementation or enhancement of security processes
• Contribute to SAP GRC Access Control activities where applicable, including Risk Analysis (ARA), Access Request Management (ARM), and Emergency Access Management (EAM/Firefighter)
• Create and maintain documentation for roles, processes, and controls while ensuring audit readiness and compliance

Mandatory Requirements

• Several years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator with a strong focus on SAP Security and Authorizations
• In-depth knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, including roles, profiles, authorization objects, and PFCG
• Solid understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD), critical authorizations, and Least Privilege principles
• Experience providing 1st-level support within productive SAP environments
• Independent, structured, and service-oriented working style
• Fluent German (spoken and written) is mandatory

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, ARM, EAM/Firefighter)
• French language skills

Additional Information

• Work model: 20-40% on-site at the Client's location and 60-80% remote, depending on the project phase
• Remote work is permitted only from within Switzerland

We offer - A permanent contract with a Gross Annual Salary (RAL) ranging between CHF 120 k and CHF 128 k. The final level and benefits package will be evaluated based on the candidate’s experience and skills. - Alternatively, for VAT-registered professionals/freelancers, a daily rate between CHF 690 and 740.
