Technical Sales Specialist (PLM) – Medium Voltage Products

We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist – Medium Voltage Products , to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Electrification and Automation area.

As Technical Sales Specialist – Medium Voltage Products you will be the technical and commercial reference for Medium Voltage products, enabling customers and sales teams with feasible, competitive offers and high‑quality technical support across the solution lifecycle.
The role combines pre‑sales engineering, commercial acumen, and post‑sales technical support , with significant interaction with HQ and a strong focus on Medium Voltage circuit breakers.
Technical Promotion & Business Development
- Conduct period customer visits in collaboration with Sales to develop customer intimacy
- Provide technical product consultancy and support product selection
- Support scouting of new customers and promote the Medium Voltage Products portfolio and portfolio updates
- Enhance building of partnerships with customers through the implementation of existing Siemens partnership models
- Support planning of customer demand within existing business partnerships, working in close proximity to Team’s demand planner
Product Development Support
- Conduct thorough market analysis to highlight portfolio gaps and fit to market versus competitors
- Support Building of business cases for new products and business models
Customer & Partnership Management
- Manage, in cooperation with the sales team, long term relationships with key customers, including customer agreements and pricing strategies
- Act as a trusted technical partner for key customers
- Support customer in ensuring post‑sales topics such as warranties, failures, and claims are correctly addressed in the Siemens organization
Support to Pre‑Sales & Offering
- Collect and analyze customer technical requirements
- Configure products and validate technical feasibility
- Technically Support negotiations
- Coordinate offer strategy with Sales and Service teams
Qualification
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, relevant technical diploma or equivalent technical background
- Experience in Medium Voltage Switchgears (preferable), Medium voltage products or power distribution and transmission
- Experience in technical sales, pre‑sales engineering
- Knowledge of MV circuit breakers, protection systems, or similar products
- Ability to manage complex technical‑commercial processes end‑to‑end
- Experience working with configurators, pricing tools, and order systems
- Coordination skills in international and cross‑functional environments
- Passion to never‑stop growing
- Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge
- Proficiency in English and Italian
- Eligibility to work in Italy
