At InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula, we are here to make each of our valued guest enjoy the finer things in life to discover the means of experiences that cannot be had anywhere else. /ppInterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula, is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our charming, confident, and internationally minded team who knows how to exceed guest expectations. /ppA little taste of your day-to-day: /ppKicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes. /ppAcknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone. /ppTaking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings. /ppMaking the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless. /ppStaying one step of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations. /ppBeing our guests’ trusted contact – helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations. /ppWhat we need from you: /ppPrevious experience in a Front Office position or with Opera (PMS) is highly regarded. /ppCommunication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to. /ppYour problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories. /ppAvailability to work a rotating roster, including shifts on weekends and Public Holidays. Open availability is highly advantageous. /ppFluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential. /ppLiterate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills. /ppApplicants must have unrestricted Australian working rights. /ppWhat you can expect from us: /ppWe give our people everything they need to succeed.
