AI & Automation Intern

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting AI & Automation Intern to join the European Market Services team. The position will be based in Paris, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the Head of Regulatory Reporting.
You Will Primarily Be Responsible For- Designing and developing AI-powered tools to automate recurring regulatory reporting activities
- Building user-friendly interfaces, dashboards or copilots for analysts to launch investigations, retrieve data and generate reports
- Integrating large language models (LLMs), AI agents and automation workflows with existing regulatory reporting processes
- Automating KPI production, data quality checks, incident reporting, regulator feedback analysis and documentation generation
- Developing Python scripts and reusable components for data extraction, validation and analysis
- Assisting in the creation of AI-powered knowledge bases using team procedures and historical investigations
- Evaluating opportunities to reduce manual effort in data reconciliation, root-cause analysis and reporting preparation
- Gathering feedback from business users and continuously improving solutions
- Documenting developed solutions to ensure reusability and maintainability
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence, generative AI and process automation
- Good knowledge of Python and scripting
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI or SQL, and development tools like GitHub and VS Code
- Basic front-end development experience (web applications, dashboards or low-code tools)
- Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM usage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Autonomous, curious and eager to learn new technologies
- Team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
- Fluent English is required; French or another Euronext market language is an advantage
- Nice to have: knowledge of MCP protocols, AI orchestration frameworks, financial markets or regulatory reporting, experience with APIs, workflow automation platforms, Jira and Agile methodologies
