pbLocation: /b Valencia, Spain, Hybrid OR Remote across EMEA /p pbEmployment: /b Full-Time Contract /p pbDuration: /b 6 months, with potential extension /p pbLanguage: /b Fluent English required /p pbIndustry: /b Cybersecurity / Cloud / Enterprise Security /p h3About The Opportunity /h3 pPragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a major international organization for a bSecurity Operations Analyst /b to join a global Cybersecurity Operations team. /p pYou’ll be part of a b24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) /b responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats across enterprise, cloud, network, and endpoint environments. /p pThis is a hands‑on security role focused on balert triage, threat investigation, log analysis, incident response, and security monitoring /b, working alongside cybersecurity specialists distributed across multiple regions. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liMonitor, triage, and investigate security alerts across SIEM, EDR, Microsoft security tools, and cloud platforms. /li liAnalyze host and network logs from Windows, Linux, databases, applications, web servers, firewalls, and NIDS/HIDS. /li liInvestigate suspicious activity, identify root causes, and determine appropriate remediation or escalation. /li liSupport incident response, remediation, and recovery activities. /li liWork closely with Incident Response and other cybersecurity teams to manage security threats. /li liAnalyze network and security events using TCP/IP, syslog, firewall, and network monitoring data. /li liIdentify opportunities to improve detection quality and reduce false positives through tuning and optimization. /li liGather technical information from clients to improve security monitoring and detection. /li liPrepare and present security reports, summaries, and technical findings. /li liContribute to SOC procedures, documentation, knowledge bases, and quality‑control processes. /li liReview operational feedback and implement corrective actions to continuously improve service quality. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul li5+ years of relevant experience in IT/cybersecurity, including security alert triage and incident support. /li liHands‑on experience working in a SOC environment. /li liStrong experience with SIEM and EDR platforms. /li liAdvanced log analysis skills across Windows/Linux, databases, applications, and infrastructure. /li liStrong knowledge of Microsoft Security technologies, including Microsoft Sentinel and Defender. /li liExperience with cloud security across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP. /li liExperience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, Microsoft Sentinel, or ELK. /li liExperience with at least one EDR solution such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or CrowdStrike. /li liKnowledge of email security, network monitoring, and incident response. /li liStrong knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows. /li liFluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience working on an Incident Response team with Tier-1/Tier-2 incident triage. /li liAWS security monitoring experience across IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS environments. /li liScripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, or similar. /li liCertifications such as Microsoft SC-200, GCIH, CEH, GCFA, GIAC, CCNA, or MCSE. /li liCustomer‑facing cybersecurity experience. /li /ul h3Why Join /h3 ul liWork inside a global 24/7 cybersecurity operation protecting international organizations. /li liGain exposure to large‑scale cloud, SIEM, EDR, network, and endpoint security environments. /li liCollaborate with cybersecurity specialists across multiple regions and disciplines. /li liWork directly on real‑world threat detection and incident response. /li liBuild experience across a broad enterprise security technology stack. /li /ul pPragmatike is committed to a fair, transparent, and inclusive recruitment process.
