Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure Defend, Observe Protect, Explore, Travel Navigate. /ppWe are looking for a bPower Subsystem Engineer /b. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform detailed analyses on power sources (solar array, battery or DC power from other modules) to assess the correctness of sizing considering age and degradation due to single failure and compute relevant performance evaluation. /liliDefine power system architecture from received requirements from source to users. /liliDefine performance, interface and test requirements for the power system, power sources, and users. /liliSpecify and review technical documentation as Subsystem/Unit like applicable standards technical specification, Technical Notes/Analysis, Test Specification and report. /liliManage and/or participate to technical meetings with subcontractor and/or clients. /liliParticipate to design review with customers and supplier as needed. /liliSupport failure analysis and support in solution identifications during the unit development and subsystem / Spacecraft integration phases. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMaster Degree in Electronics or Aerospace engineering or equivalent with Power specialization. /liliAt least 5 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: /liliDesign of Power unit or electronic unit for power regulation. /liliSystem or subsystem power architect. /li /ulpDeep knowledge of: /pulliMS Office package (Word, Excel, Access) /liliscientific tools and SW like Matlab/Simulink, MathCad, Visual Basic. /li /ulpKnowledge of English is mandatory. /ppAvailable for short business trips in Italy or abroad. /ph3Additional Information /h3pAt Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
