Business Development Manager - Data Center

Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager - Data Center is responsible for driving growth across the Data Center business by enabling partners, developing pipeline, and executing go-to-market strategies aligned with vendor and business unit priorities.

The role acts as a key orchestrator within the ecosystem, connecting vendor strategies , partner capabilities , and customer demand to accelerate business growth across Data Center , colocation , and infrastructure services .

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development through channel partners, system integrators, and resellers.
• Execute go-to-market strategies aligned with vendor and business unit priorities.
• Develop pipeline across Data Center , colocation , and infrastructure services .
• Position core solutions including housing , hosting , connectivity , and private cloud .
• Promote value-added and enabling services, including managed services , remote hands / operational support , business continuity & disaster recovery , and physical and cybersecurity services .
• Support partners in solution building , demand generation , and deal execution .
• Collaborate with internal teams including vendor management , presales , marketing , and finance / credit .
• Act as a trusted advisor to partners, driving long-term growth and partner engagement.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in IT distribution , Data Center , Cloud , or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of the channel ecosystem and indirect sales models .
• Knowledge of colocation , hosting , connectivity , and infrastructure services.
• Proven ability to drive pipeline development , partner engagement, and sales execution.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to navigate complexity in a multi-vendor environment .
• Native Italian speaker is mandatory.
• English proficiency required in a business context.

• Conversion rate from pipeline to closed deals.
• Successful go-to-market execution, including campaigns, vendor alignment, and delivered initiatives.
