Software Sales Specialist - Italy

Overview

In this role you drive software-led growth for HP in Italy, collaborating with account teams to move leads through negotiation to close. You will articulate ROI and value of HP software across security, WXP, and collaboration offerings within enterprise accounts and partner ecosystems. You'll stay current on industry trends and competitive landscapes to sharpen sales strategies and ensure quota attainment. This is a cross-functional, customer-focused role that shapes how HP software solves business challenges at scale.

Responsabilità

• Research and generate a steady pipeline of Italian leads through cold calling, networking, events, and online resources
• Perform needs analysis to map customer challenges to HP software solutions
• Articulate ROI and value proposition of HP software to prospects
• Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to build tailored proposals
• Navigate negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed sales quotas
• Maintain CRM records and analyze sales data to spot trends and opportunities
• Guide and manage cross-cultural, cross-tower, cross-business teams for customer support
• Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to refine offerings and sales approaches
• Communicate ROI and outcomes of software relative to customer priorities
• Prospect strategically with high intensity to achieve qualified leads and booked meetings

Requisiti fondamentali

• 7+ years of enterprise software or cloud sales experience
• Experience with cloud-based software sales and familiarity with Microsoft, AWS, Google
• Experience with Nexthink and 1E is a plus
• Proven ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of market trends and ability to convert insights to opportunities
• Experience in prospecting, lead generation, needs analysis, solution presentation, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing
• CRM software proficiency and sales analytics tooling
• New Technology and AI adoption mindset to enhance sales performance and customer engagement
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to build and manage executive-level relationships
