Italy Distributed Solution / Technical Sales Engineer (Sr)

Responsibilities

  • Based on AIKO’s overall business strategy, participate in market planning and execution for the Italy distributed PV market , and be responsible for regional product and solution promotion.
  • Work closely with Sales / Key Account Managers to identify customer needs and pain points (e.G. installers, EPCs, distributors, C&I end customers), and provide timely feedback to the product and HQ technical teams.
  • Be responsible for the development and maintenance of technical relationships with regional customers and partners, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Conduct regular customer visits across Italy to support product promotion, solution explanation, and pre-/post-sales technical support.
  • Support solution design and technical proposals , including system configuration, product selection, and application scenarios for distributed PV projects.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and marketing materials , and support roadshows, distributor events, and customer workshops.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external technical resources to ensure solution feasibility, competitiveness, and successful project implementation .

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in photovoltaic product marketing, technical sales, system design, or distributed PV project support.
  • Experience in distributed PV (C&I, rooftop, small-scale ground-mounted) is strongly preferred, Candidates with a PV module / inverter / energy storage manufacturer background are a plus.
  • Fluent in Italian, Working proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, Good learning ability and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and Southern Europe .
