As an Application Engineer at EssilorLuxottica, you will bridge customer needs with technical solutions to improve production processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and visit customer sites to provide on-site analysis and support, driving practical process improvements. You will contribute to new technologies in partnership with R&D, helping shape manufacturing capabilities. This role offers international exposure, travel, and the chance to impact how eyewear and ophthalmic products are produced and delivered. - Understand and interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to propose and implement process improvements
- Travel nationally and internationally for on-site analysis and support
- Contribute to the development of new technologies in collaboration with R&D
- Strong analytical and communication skills in Italian and English
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Motivation to learn and grow in a technical environment
- Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of ophthalmic lens production processes (hard coating, anti-reflection, sun coating) is highly valued
- Previous experience in ophthalmic or solar lens manufacturing environments is preferred
