ph3Facility Field Engineer /h3pAzienda : Exa Tipo Lavoro : Full Time Italy /ph3Descrizione Lavoro - Facility Field Engineer /h3pRole Purpose /ppThe Field Services team is responsible for the delivery of services all over the region for field, fibre and facilities. We cover all technologies (infrastructure, transmission, IP and Voice) and follow structured processes to provide our customers with fast delivery timescales while guaranteeing a quality level compliant with Interoute’s goals of performance and cost effectiveness. /ppThe Field Facility Engineer is responsible for autonomously delivering the day to day facility field activities associated with implementation and network build projects, for both internal and external customers. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliTo produce, maintain, manage and report upon network build and customer projects /liliSupport the development and design of the network and its expansion /liliTo carry out network migration activities (outside normal hours, on an occasional basis) /liliTo ensure that all design changes, works documents, new network deployment and customer deployments are executed as per design process. /liliTo provide local multi-vendor telecom field operations and maintenance services, in order to ensure industry leading service performance. /liliTo support and ensure a smooth customer experience in conjunction with the Pre-Sales, Service Delivery and Post-Sales teams for all regional orders. /liliManage and maintain integrity of data in the EXA systems /liliEnsure projects within remit are delivered to technical standards /liliSupport facilities equipment installations for products and customers within assigned sites and perform facilities related Planned Works raised by the Network Operations Centre as required. /liliAct as key Delegate and Escalation partner for Field for the country. /liliProvide training and mentoring to Field team members. /liliProvide support to Pre-sales Bid management for quotations and large opportunities. /liliAssist with general improvement by providing feedback on snags as well as challenging the process and systems and sharing ideas on ways to develop efficiency. /liliSupport the Network Operating Centre (NOC) as needed to maintain facility and network continuity. /liliTo ensure good quality network as built design handover to Network Operations. /liliTo assist NOC with escalations to local suppliers during service delivery and all operational stages when required. /liliAs part of On Call support rota enabling 24x7 cover to fulfil operational activities. /liliEnsure suppliers work in accordance with local safety and security rules. /liliOther tasks as may be required by management /li /ulh3Individual Profile /h3ulliExperience in the field of network build. /liliDelivery of carrier class telecoms network services. /liliGood knowledge of Field, Facilities and Service delivery activities. /liliProject management abilities /liliSelf-motivated with good organisational and communication skills. /liliAble to operate in a cross-functional matrix-management environment. /liliTeam player. /liliEngineering qualifications ideally degree in Telecom Engineering or equivalent /liliGeneral proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
