As a Machine Vision Engineer at ACMA, you will advance vision systems and the Industrial IoT ecosystem to enhance process control, quality, and predictive maintenance. You will work within the Automation & Digital Innovation team to integrate vision solutions across manufacturing, from prototype to production. The role involves evaluating new vision technologies, hardware integration, and edge‑to‑cloud data flows. This position offers a chance to shape scalable, secure, data‑driven manufacturing solutions in a global packaging machinery context.Retribuzione / Benefits

• Develop, validate, and industrialize machine vision applications from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with Automation, Quality, and Production to embed vision into manufacturing processes.
• Conduct proof‑of‑concept activities for new vision technologies, architectures, and suppliers.
• Select and integrate hardware components (sensors, controllers, lenses, lighting, cameras).
• Work with commercial vision platforms such as Omron and Cognex.
• Contribute to design and evolution of the IoT ecosystem, ensuring data flow from edge to cloud.
• Support predictive maintenance, performance analytics, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain software for connected industrial systems, integrating sensors, edge devices, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and cybersecurity.

Responsabilità

• 4–6 years of experience in Machine Vision, embedded development, or industrial automation.
• Proven background delivering machine vision applications in industrial settings.
• Strong proficiency in C / C++ (embedded, performance‑critical image processing).
• Proficient in Python for rapid prototyping, image processing, data analysis.
• Structured Text programming per IEC 61131‑3; experience with Embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of MQTT and OPC UA industrial protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and basic cybersecurity principles.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
