OTC & Credit Transformation Senior Specialist

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our Italy Finance team as Order to Cash & Credit Transformation Senior Specialist .

This role combines operational leadership with a strong focus on transformation, continuous improvement and business partnering. You will oversee end-to-end Order to Cash and Credit Management activities, ensuring effective execution, strong governance and robust internal controls across the OTC cycle.

Working closely with local and global stakeholders, Business Service Centers and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in optimizing processes, improving working capital performance and driving automation and digital transformation initiatives. You will also lead and develop a team of two professionals while acting as a trusted finance partner to the business.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end Order to Cash and Credit Management operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and timely issue resolution.
• Manage, coach and develop the OTC team, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Drive Credit and Collection strategies, including credit risk assessment, legal recovery activities, factoring processes and Working Capital / DSO management.
• Oversee Customer Master Data, Pricing, Billing and E-Invoicing activities, ensuring compliance, data accuracy and effective stakeholder coordination.
• Own OTC internal controls and support Internal and External Audits, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements, company policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, optimize and automate OTC processes through continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional and global projects, ensuring effective stakeholder alignment and successful implementation.
• Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner, collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, improve processes and support business objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration , or equivalent extensive OTC experience.
• Significant experience in Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Credit Management or related finance functions.
• Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams, priorities and operational performance.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end OTC processes, including Customer Master Data, Pricing, Billing, Credit & Collections and E-Invoicing.
• Experience driving process improvement, transformation, standardization, automation or digital finance initiatives.
• In-depth understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, compliance frameworks and SOX environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.
• Fluent in Italian and English; SAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills are required.

The applicable NCBA is CCNL Chimico-Farmaceutico, Classification ‘Quadro’, Level A2

ITA - Lazio - Roma

The salary range for this position is

€49,900.00 - €84,800.00

This is the lowest and highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. It is based on the applicable NCBA, as well as an individual’s experience, skills, organizational needs, and compensation levels within their peer group. If applicable, employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus, long-term incentives, or other benefits. Our Talent Acquisition team will provide further information if needed.
