You will use AI as a force multiplier across research, design, engineering, and delivery, while staying accountable for real client outcomes. /liliWe are looking for engineers who can demonstrate that they have designed and deployed consequential AI systems, exercised independent business acumen, critical thinking, and technical judgement under real constraints, and built things that others build on. The right candidate may be early in their career by conventional measures but advanced by the metrics that matter to us. /liliYou will not be working in a sandbox or building theoretical demos. You will be working in live client contexts, shaping solutions that can be tested, adopted, and scaled. /li /ul h3WHAT YOU WILL OWN /h3 ulliThe AI delivery methodology for your assigned sector vertical /liliThe reusable asset library emerging from your client engagements — ensuring that solutions built for Singapore lighthouse accounts are documented, abstracted, and ready for regional adaptation /liliThe technical onboarding and capability development of engineers who join your team /li /ul h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ulliLead the journey from client problem statement to working prototype, MVP, or deployable solution /liliTranslate ambiguous business challenges into clear product hypotheses, technical approaches, and execution plans /liliBuild and ship AI-enabled solutions using the right combination of software engineering, model orchestration, automation, and design tools /liliMake sound trade-offs across speed, quality, security, scalability, and business value /liliAdvise client technology and business leaders on AI investment priorities, architecture decisions, and build-versus-buy choices — drawing on NCS’s cross-sector experience and AIC’s capability base /liliDrive fast experiments and iterative delivery cycles to validate desirability, feasibility, and value /liliContribute reusable patterns, playbooks, and working practices that help NCS scale AI-native delivery across sectors and geographies /liliStay current with emerging AI tools, methods, and frameworks, and apply them where they create measurable advantage /liliYou are energised by ambiguity and know how to create clarity through action /liliYou are comfortable defining the scope, shaping the approach, and driving execution with limited hand-holding /liliYou combine product instinct, engineering depth, and strong judgement /liliYou work well with senior stakeholders and can challenge assumptions constructively /liliYou use AI fluently in your day-to-day workflow as a practical multiplier across design, code, research, and delivery /liliYou care about shipping real solutions that solve meaningful client problems /liliYou move quickly, but you also know where quality, trust, and maintainability matter most /li /ul h3The ideal candidate should possess: /h3 ulliDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
