Associate, Industrial Practice

Join Spencer Stuart’s Industrial Practice in Italy to support CEO and C-level executive searches across sectors. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to manage searches, research, sourcing, and candidate validation, building specialized knowledge over time. The role blends project management, assessment, and relationship-building to deliver exceptional client service. You’ll be based in Milan or Rome, with a strong office presence, and help shape leadership solutions for a global client base.Retribuzione / Benefits

• Contribute to the start-up phase of searches by shaping the position specification, search strategy, and target list; assist in client pitches with benchmark candidate profiles
• Gather industry and target company information; identify prospects and represent the client to executives
• Validate candidates via references and source checks
• Work with Consultants to develop and present a slate of qualified candidates; provide market trends and compensation data as needed
• Prepare position specifications, candidate presentations, and reference reports following assessment methodology
• Communicate effectively with the team and keep Search progress up-to-date for accurate client updates
• Organize client progress reports/meetings and offer perspectives on prospects against selection criteria
• Monitor industry developments and keep the team informed about market changes
• Contribute to expanding the firm’s candidate pool and ensure up-to-date information is available for colleagues
• Support responses to new business inquiries and firm-wide initiatives
• Engage with local office activities and share practice information with colleagues

• 3+ years in executive search, recruiting, talent acquisition, strategy, or related consulting environment with client service experience
• Domain expertise in a specific industry or function is a plus
• Proven project management skills in high-demand settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Undergraduate degree; postgraduate degree a plus
• Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written)
• International mindset with cross-border experience preferred
