SERVICENOW DEVELOPER

We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer with strong technical potential to support the development, integration, and administration of our ServiceNow platform. This role is development-oriented, with a secondary business analysis component. The ideal candidate is comfortable with scripting, understands web technologies, and is motivated to build scalable and maintainable solutions within an ITSM ecosystem.

ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement solutions using:
• Business Rules
• Script Includes
• Client Scripts
• UI Policies
• Develop and customize ITSM modules (Incident, Request, Change, Problem)
• Build and maintain catalog items and workflows (Flow Designer)
• Participate in platform upgrades, testing, and deployments
• Write and maintain JavaScript-based logic within ServiceNow
• Work with REST APIs (integration with third-party systems)
• Assist in building and maintaining integrations (inbound/outbound)
• Debug and troubleshoot scripts and platform issues
• Support user/role management and access control (ACL basics)
• Ensure data consistency and platform stability
• Monitor and optimize platform performance
• Customize ServiceNow interfaces:
• Service Portal
• UI Builder
• Apply front-end skills:
• HTML / CSS
• JavaScript
• Improve UX and usability for end users

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Foundation in JavaScript
• Basic understanding of:

Web development (HTML, CSS)

Client-server architecture

• Familiarity with:

REST APIs

JSON / data structures

• Initial experience or exposure to ServiceNow is a plus
• Understanding of ITSM concepts (aligned with ITIL principles)
• Fluent English (mandatory)
• Strong technical mindset with interest in platform engineering
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a complex environment
• Structured, autonomous, and problem-solving oriented

In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.

Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): Metalworking Industry Collective Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria)

Employment Category: White-collar employee

Gross Annual Salary (RAL): between €26.843,44 and € 33.058,74 gross per year, paid over 13 monthly installments.

The position within the salary range and the corresponding job classification level (C2, C3, B1 or B2 under the applicable CCNL) will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
