Business Development Manager - Salerno (FTC - 12 months)

We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Salerno.
This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑funded company. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants.
As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.
This position is offered as a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
What You'll Be Doing- Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion, becoming an area‑level expert on up‑and‑coming restaurants and the ones customers crave most.
- Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing them the best experience.
- Communicate – via physical visits, email, calls, or social media – with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
- Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
- Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.
- Comfortable with targeting new business and sales experience.
- Confidence and experience dealing with partners/customers, face‑to‑face, phone or email.
- Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
- Comfortable with negotiations.
- Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
- Tenacious and persistent.
