Experteer Overview
In this role, you will serve as the strategic finance partner to the General Manager of Glovo Italy, owning the country’s P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. You will lead a high-performing team, shape financial health and long‑term direction in a fast‑evolving market, and collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to ensure value creation. You will influence executive decisions, drive performance storytelling, and help scale the business through data‑driven insights and scenarios. This is a leadership role with broad impact on growth and strategic execution.Retribuzione / Benefits
- Own and steer the full P&L for the Italy market from revenue levers to cost optimization
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly performance reviews across departments
- Develop business cases, scenario analyses, and predictive models to guide expansion and commercial strategy
- Partner with central finance, strategy, and data teams for alignment and execution
- Provide financial storytelling and performance insights to C-level discussions
- Oversee treasury, accounting needs, and financial policies and statements
- Manage relationships with external auditors, administrations, and external consultants
- Represent the country in international forums and contribute to Glovo's global playbook
- Drive process improvement and the finance operations roadmap with local and global stakeholders
- 10‑15+ years in Finance, Strategy, Consulting, or equivalent high‑impact roles
- Senior leadership experience with full P&L exposure and cross‑functional acumen
- Proven track record leading high‑performing teams and talent development
- Experience in high‑growth, tech, e‑commerce, or marketplace environments
- Background in strategy consulting (MBB) and/or CFO‑track roles is a plus
- Fluency in Italian and English
