In this role you support the sales process with pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support and education, helping to maximize customer value and uphold Abbott’s trusted brand. You work closely with sales, scientific liaison and informatics teams to enable smooth implementations and robust connectivity. You provide training, demonstrations and troubleshooting, while contributing to tender processes and knowledge sharing to strengthen competitive differentiation.   • Partner with the sales team for pre‑sales activities: identify technical stakeholders, run product demonstrations, user trials, and tailor connectivity solutions
  • Develop, adapt and track educational materials; communicate evaluation outcomes
  • Plan and execute new customer implementations: workflow adaptation, device installation, connectivity setup, user training, post‑installation follow‑up
  • Provide technical support including troubleshooting, software updates, connectivity solutions and additional training
  • Escalate issues when needed to European Technical Support and ensure resolution
  • Act as liaison between Commercial and Informatics to align connectivity solutions
  • Collaborate with office teams to document and record procedures in CRM
  • Share technical knowledge with sales to strengthen value proposition
  • Support Sales and Management on strategic priorities and key accounts; contribute ideas to improve customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to tender submissions and contract preparation for key customers
  • Collaborate with Marketing on product demonstrations, congresses, and training events
  • Work with Scientific Liaison on site studies and KOL relationships
Responsabilità
  • 5+ years in medical or diagnostics industry (In Vitro Diagnostics preferred)
  • Experience with IT connectivity of diagnostic or medical devices to hospital LIS/HIS systems
  • Strong customer‑focused mindset with proven technical and commercial capabilities
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship‑building skills
  • Strong time management and ability to work autonomously
  • Solid understanding of diagnostic products, technical solutions and industry terminology; ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • High proficiency with digital tools and applications, including connectivity software, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce.com, and web‑conferencing platforms (Teams, WebEx)
  • Languages: Italian fluent; English fluent
