Freight System Engineer

ph3Job Description /h3pbWork location: /b Piossasco (TO) /ph3How will you make a difference? /h3pAs a bFreight System Engineer /b, oversee the integration of braking and/or digitalization systems to ensure delivered solutions meet customer requirements. You will serve as the primary point of contact between project teams, Wabtec sites, and customers, both in France and internationally. /ph3What will your typical day look like? /h3ulliDesign and develop railway braking systems and digitalization solutions. /liliManage technical specifications and interfaces between various subsystems. /liliEnsure requirement traceability and technical project consistency. /liliParticipate in customer technical reviews and project milestone meetings. /liliAnalyze technical risks and propose appropriate solutions. /liliManage customer-requested modifications by evaluating their technical and economic impacts. /liliCollaborate with multidisciplinary, multi-site teams in an international environment. /liliAssume technical responsibility for projects and ensure the overall consistency of the solution through to commissioning. /liliManage technical requirements and their traceability throughout the project lifecycle. /li /ulh3What do we want to know about you? /h3h3Required education and experience: /h3ulliHigher education in mechanics or engineering. /liliMinimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial environment. /li /ulh3Required skills/qualities: /h3ulliKnowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, or electronic systems. /liliAbility to draft technical specifications and work on complex projects. /liliAbility to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, or electronic blueprints and schematics. /liliProfessional Italian and English (French is considered a plus) /liliAnalytical mindset, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility. /liliStrong interpersonal skills for collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. /liliAvailability for regular travel within Europe and occasional international travel. /li /ulh3What do we offer? /h3ulliPermanent full-time contract, CCNL Metalmeccanico /liliBudget: 41,200 - 54,600€ /liliSmart working: 2 days per week /liliTraining and professional development opportunities /liliBenefits, including: flexible hours, canteen, welfare platform, accident insurance, tax assistance, and electric car charging /li /ulpLa ricerca è rivolta a candidati di entrambi i sessi, ai sensi delle leggi 903/77 e 125/91, e a persone di tutte le età e tutte le nazionalità, ai sensi dei decreti legislativi 215/03 e 216/03.
