On behalf of a global leader in telecommunications and consumer electronics, Randstad Digital, t he specialized division of Randstad Italia in the search, selection, and training of ICT profiles, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer | Model-Driven Engineering & AI for their prestigious Research Center in Pisa.

You will join a high-caliber R&D team of experts and PhDs dedicated to building next-generation tools for Digital Power and Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystems. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of academic research and industrial innovation.

Candidate profile:

• Education: M.Sc. in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields). A PhD is highly preferred and considered a significant advantage.
• Experience: A solid track record in complex software architecture and system engineering.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory (working in a multicultural global environment).

Responsabilità

• IDE & Toolchain Development: Lead the design and development of proprietary MBD tools, focusing on code generation, simulation, and optimization.
• Model-Driven Engineering: Drive the implementation of model-to-text, text-to-model, and model-to-model transformations.
• AI Integration: Architect efficient AI infrastructures and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced AI frameworks into the core product suite.
• Research & Innovation: Actively contribute to cutting-edge research projects, transforming complex theoretical concepts into scalable software solutions.

• Programming Languages: Mastery of Java (essential) and a strong command of Python.
• MDE Frameworks: Proven experience with the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) and Xtext for developing Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs).
• Artificial Intelligence: Hands-on experience with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, CUDA, MindSpore) and integrating AI technologies into software products.
• Software Engineering: 3-5+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming, including unit testing and test automation.
