OVH Controlling Specialist (Parental Leave Substitution)

About the Role:

We are currently looking for an OVH Controlling Specialist to join our Finance Department, within the Planning & Controlling area, for a parental leave substitution .

In this role, you will support the controlling activities related to Overheads, contributing to monthly closing processes, budgeting and forecasting cycles, and performance analysis. Working closely with Finance colleagues and business stakeholders, you will help monitor costs, analyze financial data and support informed decision-making across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

You will support the Budget and Forecast processes for the overhead areas under your responsibility , collecting, consolidating and analyzing financial information to ensure accurate planning and monitoring activities.

You will be involved in the monthly and year-end closing processes of the assigned companies, validating financial data, investigating variances and ensuring the reliability and consistency of reporting information.

A significant part of the role will focus on monitoring overhead costs and cost centers , performing scenario and variance analyses, and identifying potential risks and opportunities impacting financial performance.

You will prepare periodic reports and presentations for stakeholders , translating financial data into meaningful insights and supporting discussions around cost trends, year-end projections and forecast assumptions.

Working in close partnership with business functions, you will support stakeholders in interpreting financial results and understanding performance drivers. Developing a proactive approach to gathering information and challenging assumptions will be essential to build reliable analyses and forecasts aligned with business expectations.

About You:

You hold a master's degree in Business Management, Economics or a related field and have gained initial experience in Controlling, Finance or a similar area .

You are interested in finance and controlling activities and enjoy working with data and analysis. Curious, proactive and detail-oriented, you are comfortable collaborating with different stakeholders and contributing to a dynamic team environment.

You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint , which you use confidently to analyze data and present findings in a clear and effective way. 

You are fluent in English and feel comfortable operating in an international environment.
