PROPERTY AND LIABILITY UNDERWRITER

In this role you will develop and execute the strategy for Property & Liability risks in the Italian market, aligning with Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will collaborate with the Group and local teams to shape underwriting and product initiatives while supporting agent relationships. You’ll drive performance with underwriters, pricing discipline, and end-to-end lifecycle improvements. • Ensure underwriters comply with authority, pricing and rating guidelines
• Steer local portfolio to meet financial targets
• Coordinate with functions to review underwriting lifecycle performance
• Collaborate with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims and other lines to support cross‑selling
• Maintain underwriting consistency and adherence to corporate governance and local regulations
• Support development and implementation of new or modified products
• Assist in acquiring new business and retaining existing business, including agent/broker negotiations
• Communicate local business strategy externally

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics or Law
• At least 5 years of underwriting Property (PD/BI, Theft, Liability) for Corporate Clients
• Preference for Multinational client experience
• Proven leadership skills
• Expertise in risk assessment and policy administration lifecycle
• Strong pricing and market analysis skills
• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing wordings; driving underwriting projects preferred

• Ability to work in an international organization
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
