Head of Finance & Controlling

We are on an exciting growth and transformation journey, not the least within our Mobile Power Solutions business – to which we are now recruiting Head of Finance Controlling, based in Pescara Italy (Forli or Milan are also possible locations), who will oversee financial reporting, support strategic decision-making, and drive business performance within our business. /p h3About the position /h3 h3As Head of Finance Controlling for Mobile Power Solutions EMEA /h3 pyou will act as a strategic finance partner, supporting the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the leadership team to drive financial performance, oversee the accounting function, strengthen internal controls, and enable data-driven decision‑making across commercial and operational activities. The position reports the Head of Mobile Power Solutions in EMEA, with a dotted line to the MPS CFO based in Sweden. /p h3Your main responsibilities /h3 ul liTake ownership of the accounting function for Mobile Power Solutions EMEA, including overseeing and actively participating in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of the books. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance. /li liPrepare comprehensive financial statements and other financial reporting packages in accordance with internal and external requirements. Analyze financial results, providing clear insights to support both strategic and operational decision-making. /li liLead budgeting and forecasting for Mobile Power Solutions EMEA, working closely with department heads across the organization to gather financial data and ensure accuracy, reporting through group reporting systems to meet corporate standards, and developing clear presentation materials to communicate assumptions, key driver and result. /li liTrack, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) across MPS EMEA. Partner with business leaders in financial performance reviews and drive accountability toward targets. /li liEnsure compliance with internal policies and controls, and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits and implement improvements to strengthen governance and the internal control framework. /li liIdentify and drive improvements in reporting and processes to enhance reporting accuracy, financial performance and operational efficiency. /li /ul h3What do we offer? /h3 pAn opportunity to make a real impact in a global, performance‑driven organization. You’ll have the mandate to take ownership, shape how finance supports the business, and grow your role over time — with strong opportunities to develop into broader finance leadership or business leadership roles within a global organization. /p pbA suitable background would /bbe experience from auditing and/or accounting (experience gained in a Big 4 firm is considered a strong merit), and should be complemented by at least a couple of years of hands‑on business controlling or finance management experience within an operating company, partnering closely with a PL leader.
