As Fraud Data Analyst at Satispay in Barcelona, you will architect real-time defense strategies to secure digital payments. You’ll design a decisioning engine that blends ML scores with velocity signals to enable millisecond decisions. You’ll translate fraud patterns into high-performance rules and proactively hunt emerging schemes. You’ll collaborate with Product and Engineering to refine the decisioning stack and operationalize ML models, all while keeping a frictionless UX. • Design and deploy real-time decisioning logic using ML scores and velocity features
• Translate fraud signals into high-performance rules balancing FPR and fraud loss
• Investigate emerging fraud schemes (ATO, social engineering) and develop end-to-end mitigations
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define analytical requirements for new features and data signals
• Operationalize ML models with heuristic rule integration
• Assess security controls to minimize unnecessary user friction while maintaining protection
• Monitor rule performance and portfolio health, reporting insights to leadership

Responsabilità

• 3–7 years of experience in risk, payments, or credit sectors
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis and strategy development
• Strong understanding of payment fraud dynamics and real-time decisioning environments
• Excellent communication skills and English fluency
