Experteer Overview
As Global Senior Buyer Raw Materials, you will define and implement global sourcing strategies for key materials, aligned with Global Commodity Leaders. You will negotiate supplier contracts to maximize value and lead regional initiatives with cross-functional partners. You’ll govern supplier performance, monitor risks, and support budgeting and price evolution analysis. You’ll collaborate with R&D on qualification programs and Design‑To‑Cost initiatives, shaping material strategy at scale.Retribuzione / Benefits
- Define and implement global sourcing strategies aligned with Global Commodity Leaders.
- Negotiate contracts and supplier agreements to support the sourcing strategy.
- Govern supply base and monitor supplier performance (service, quality, risk, compliance).
- Acquire deep knowledge of raw material markets and applications in Prysmian.
- Lead market trend analysis and provide insights for budgeting and price evolution.
- Collaborate with R&D to govern qualification programs and Design‑To‑Cost initiatives.
- Experience in global sourcing and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in multi‑functional, international teams.
- Knowledge of plastics, metals, chemicals; basic contract knowledge.
- Capacity to analyze market trends and support budgeting/forecasting.
