Regional Commissioning Specialist - Medium Voltage

ppThe Regional Service Representative for Medium Voltage provides professional on-site services for Schneider Electric medium-voltage power distribution solutions, including commissioning, technical diagnostics, and resolution of customer issues. The role primarily supports complex and critical projects, delivering advanced troubleshooting and on-site expertise for medium-voltage switchgear such as MCset, PIX, GHA, SM-RM-GM AirSeT, and Premset. /ph3Main responsibilities /h3ulliPerform Startup Commissioning on all equipment across the entire medium voltage product ranges /liliEvaluate units and system's installation operational conditions /liliAbility to perform onsite adjustments to bring the units to the best running conditions /liliBe able to identify if the failure is related to a quality issue/ software issue / operation condition issue (Root cause Analysis) /liliWork with another Schneider Electric service engineers or partners during site interventions /liliDocument test results and produce site work reports /liliTrain Schneider Electric customers on basic operations of the equipment /liliAbility to perform preventive corrective maintenance for MV products /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliThorough understanding of electrical principles particularly for medium voltage, fundamentals knowledge of automation and protection relays /liliMust be able to perform duties with general direction, receiving only general guidance with respect to overall objectives. /liliMust comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures /liliAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. /liliAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. /liliAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. /liliAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables /liliHandle multiple tasks simultaneously /liliWillingness to travel internationally for 70/80% of the working time /li /ulh3Education and Experience /h3ulliElectrotechnical education /liliAt least 5 years’ experience with commissioning and/or field service activities /liliConfirmed experience with MV power distribution products (Schneider Electric or other brands) /liliKnowledge of Protection Relays is a strong advantage /liliCapability to work alone, analyze technical challenges and propose resolutions /liliHave excellent mechanical and electrical hands‑on skills /liliFluent communication in English language (B2+ level min) /liliFlexibility Reliability, Focus on technical details Customer focus, Team player /li /ulh3Software tools literacy /h3ulliMS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Power system Cx software /li /ulh3What's in it for me? /h3ulliMeaningful work where your technical skills directly enhance customer outcomes and drive growth /liliOpportunities to mentor team members and grow your leadership presence /liliExposure to advanced systems and innovative technologies across varied industries /liliCollaborative culture that prioritizes safety, expertise, and professional development /liliBring your technical talent to a team that values what you do /li /ulpAt Schneider, we believe that every employee is a talent who deserves equal opportunities.
