Train control engineer

Experteer Overview As a Train Control Engineer at Alstom, you’ll lead the development of TCMS deliverables across project phases, ensuring quality, safety and reuse of proven designs. You’ll collaborate with Validation, Pr EM and subsystem teams to validate configurations, manage interfaces, and support commissioning. You’ll work on architecture and performance of TCMS subsystems, shaping how trains operate within a greener, smarter mobility network. This is a hands‑on role in a global context with cross‑functional impact. Retribuzione / Benefits Manage the development of all TCMS deliverables (functional studies, subsystem, electrical and software) for assigned projects Oversee exported constraints from TCMS pack, including SRAC Collaborate with Validation Team to validate TCMS development, configuration and management plan Achieve software quality requirements per System Engineering and TCMS Software Quality Plan Lead design planning and Design For Quality reviews across the lifecycle Deliver TCMS outputs (RSADs, FDD, Software, electrical schemes, product definitions) with Electrical Lead support Manage interfaces and follow‑up of subsystems interacting with TCMS Standardize and maximize carry‑over with previous projects Support Commissioning and Validation during Train Integration Tests Formulate a design solution that meets customer requirements, maximizing reuse of proven designs Monitor and consolidate TCMS work packages and report to Project Engineering Manager Define TCMS configuration with Train System Engineer, Pr EM and team Contribute to lessons learned in software and schematic domains Responsabilità Engineer degree or Master of Engineering Hands‑on experience in model‑based control systems design using Matlab/Simulink, Control Build or similar tools Knowledge of network topologies and interfaces (Serial, Ethernet, MVB, and other industrial networks) Fluent in English and local site language Strong communication, teamwork and customer focus skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
