These designs will typically be large Power Distribution Cabinets and Power Switching Cabinets for use in data centers. Will be required to meet project goals such as schedule, manufacturability, and cost. This position will consist of creating designs, drawings, bills of material, and processing Engineering Change Orders. /ph3What kind of work will you be doing? /h3ulliCreate 3D models using sheet metal and part modeling functionality in CAD /liliCreate complex drawings and bills of material for sheet metal, bus bar, and assemblies. /liliWrite, submit, release Engineering changes to new and released product documentation in CAD and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database using our revision control system. /liliWork with cross functional groups with the same goals for the project. /liliAbility to interpret agency design standards (Such as UL) for our products. /liliCreate order list for prototype units and ensure material is received with Project Managers. /liliWork with ETO Engineering Supervisor for task lists and priorities. /liliInteract with ETO team members to efficiently breakdown tasks, discuss design ideas, and work through issues. /liliOccasional contact with outside vendors and suppliers as needed. /liliGeneral knowledge of single and three phase power. /liliAble to interpret schematics with electrical components such as fuses and circuit breakers. /li /ulh3What will make you successful? /h3ulliBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience OR /liliAssociates Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience OR /liliHigh School Diploma and 15+ years of relevant experience. /liliMust have good planning, organizing, documentation and communication skills.
