Customer Engineer Thermal

Overview

As a Customer Engineer for Thermal Management in Milan, you will provide hands-on support to the maintenance team, handling routine tasks and assisting with chiller systems to ensure safe, efficient operation. You will work closely with service technicians, perform basic cleaning, and manage site setup and safety measures. This role supports critical infrastructure for cooling systems, helping to maintain high equipment availability. Responsabilità

• Assist with scheduled and reactive maintenance of chillers and related equipment
• Handle tools, materials, and components under technician guidance
• Support tasks such as filter changes and coil cleaning
• Perform basic cleaning and tidying of mechanical plant
• Conduct manual handling of heavy parts and tools
• Ensure safe access to equipment with barriers, signage, and platforms
• Monitor inventory and report shortages
• Transport parts to and from site
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures and report hazards

Requisiti fondamentali

• Experience in a technical service or test environment for air conditioning equipment
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Previous field service experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter with planning, organization, and time-management abilities; able to work under pressure
