Mechanical CAD Design Engineer - Aviation Domain

In this role you will join Quest Global in Brindisi as a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer in the aviation domain, contributing to customer projects from onboarding to autonomous design work. You will apply CAD skills to model components and assemblies, create drawings, and ensure compliance with customer procedures. The position emphasizes concurrent engineering and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver quality aerospace designs. This is a hands-on role that connects engineering challenges to practical, manufacturable solutions.

• Modeling simple and complex mechanical components
• Modeling simple and complex assemblies
• Drafting activities
• Learn, understand, and apply customer standard procedures
• Concurrent Engineering

• 1-3 years’ experience in CAD modelling & detailing using UG NX10 & above
• Work experience in Teamcenter-11 and above
• Experience in creating 3D Models & Drawings
• Experience in Engineering Bill of material creation, update and modification
• Knowledge on manufacturing drawings creation and drawing reading skills
• Knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance
• Familiarity/Understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME Y14.5
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills
