Swan is a principal member of Mastercard and a licensed financial institution, regulated by the French banking authority (ACPR). /p h3Job Description /h3 pAs a FinCrime Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our financial operations. Operating within the Financial Crime team, which collaborates closely with Compliance, Legal, and Operations, you will be instrumental in detecting and addressing risks related to money laundering, fraud, sanctions, and other illicit activities. Your expertise will contribute to protecting the company’s reputation and ensuring regulatory compliance, with a specific focus on the Italian market and corporate customers. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liTransaction monitoring as a 2nd line: Analyze escalations from 1st line on customer transaction patterns, with a strong focus on Italian corporate customers, to identify potential money laundering or fraudulent activities. /li liSanctions screening: Perform sanctions and PEP screenings as well as due diligences when necessary to ensure compliance with international and local (Italian) regulatory requirements. /li liInvestigations: Conduct in-depth investigations into suspicious activities and transaction patterns, assessing, drafting and submitting Suspicious Activity Reports (SOS) in line with Italian AML regulations. /li liFraud response: Support the management of fraud-related incidents, including analyzing chargeback cases, unauthorized transfers, and phishing attempts. /li liProcedure development: Contribute to the continuous improvement of FinCrime procedures, and controls, with particular attention to Italian regulatory expectations. /li liData reporting: Preparation, drafting, and submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SOS) to the Italian Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF), including operational use of Infostat-UIF, following internal approval processes. /li liTraining: Support training initiatives to educate teams on emerging FinCrime risks, typologies, and mitigation techniques. /li /ul h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul liYou have 5 years of experience in financial crime, fraud, or AML within Fintechs, Payment Institutions, EMIs, or traditional banking environments, with focus on corporate clients. /li liYou have hands‑on experience with the Italian AML framework, including UIF indicators of anomaly and Suspicious Activity Reporting (SOS). /li liFamiliarity with transaction monitoring tools and AML regulations (e.g. FATF recommendations, EU AML directives, Italian AML Law – D.Lgs. 231/2007) is a must. /li liYou possess strong analytical skills and a detail‑oriented mindset. /li liYou are able to work autonomously on complex cases while collaborating effectively with the MLRO and senior stakeholders. /li liYou demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, in both Italian and English. /li liPrior experience with Infostat-UIF is considered a strong asset. /li /ul h3Perks /h3 ul liHolidays: 27 days of paid leave. /li liWell‑being support: access to Moka Care for mental health and wellness. /li liHybrid remote policy: We offer the possibility of working from home for 2 days per week. /li liOffsite: Once a year we gather to reconnect, deep-dive into big topics, and relax. /li liDiversity and inclusion: We’re working hard to get better every day. /li /ul h3EEO Statement /h3 pSwan is committed to providing a caring work environment for all employees, regardless of age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, or belief.
