ph3Technical Sales Resident Engineer Italy – Fincantieri (m/f/d)Technical Sales | Key Account Management | Project Coordination /h3pYour Role As Technical Sales Resident Engineer Italy, you will be Magswitch’s primary local point of contact for our strategic key account Fincantieri and its associated sites across Italy. You will combine technical project support, key account management, and business development. /ppA major focus of the role will be the local coordination of a development project for an automated welding solution. At the same time, you will identify and develop additional applications for existing Magswitch products and standardized solutions. Additional customers or markets in Italy will only be assigned based on clear internal responsibilities. /ph3Your Responsibilities /h3ulliAct as the primary local point of contact for Fincantieri and its associated sites in Italy. /liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with technical, operational, and commercial decision-makers. /liliPrepare, conduct, and document customer, project, and status meetings. /liliProvide local coordination for development projects related to automated welding solutions and track milestones, timelines, risks, and open action items. /liliGather technical customer requirements and coordinate them with Business Development, NPD / Global Engineering, and the relevant technical functions. /liliSupport testing, validation, installation, commissioning, and field trials and coordinate appropriate actions to resolve technical issues. /liliAnalyze manufacturing, material-handling, and welding processes to identify suitable Magswitch products and standardized solutions. /liliDevelop new business opportunities, document them completely in Salesforce, and follow open projects through to customer decision. /liliProvide technical support for quotations, proposals, and customer presentations. /liliEscalate critical technical, commercial, or project-related issues at an early stage. /liliEnsure complete and structured project, customer, and service documentation. /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification. /liliSeveral years of experience in technical sales, field engineering, application engineering, project management, or technical customer support. /liliExperience in industrial production, plant engineering, manufacturing, or a comparable industrial environment. /liliGood understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control-system principles, as well as technical drawings and specifications. /liliProven experience in direct customer interaction and building long-term business relationships. /liliStrong project coordination skills, structured documentation, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities. /liliNative-level Italian and very good English skills. /liliHigh to very high willingness to travel throughout Italy. /liliAbility to work independently from a home office in Italy as well as directly at customer sites. /liliValid Category B driving licence. /liliValid authorization to work in Italy. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience in shipbuilding, heavy industry, or comparable manufacturing environments. /liliKnowledge of manual or automated welding processes, particularly robotic welding or seam / path tracking. /liliExperience with automation and robotics. /liliExperience with magnetic material-handling or clamping technology. /liliExperience with product development and new product introduction projects. /liliKnowledge of 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, CAPA, or comparable quality and problem-solving methodologies. /liliExperience with Salesforce and international matrix organizations. /liliGerman or additional European language skills. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliA versatile and highly visible key position supporting one of our strategically important industrial customers.Independent home-office-based work in Italy combined with regular direct customer interaction. /liliAn attractive compensation package consisting of a fixed salary and variable component, depending on qualifications and relevant professional experience. /liliCompany car and complete technical and commercial working equipment. /liliClose collaboration with Business Development, the Global NPD Coordinator, and international technical specialists. /liliFlat organizational structures and short decision-making processes. /liliA high degree of responsibility and autonomy. /liliOpportunities for professional and personal development in an international industrial environment. /li /ulh3About Magswitch /h3pMagswitch has been developing, manufacturing, and supplying switchable permanent magnets and innovative magnetic solutions for industrial applications since 2005. /ppWith international locations, we make manufacturing, material-handling, and automation processes simpler, safer, and more efficient. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
