Senior Accountant & Controller

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team based in Milan.

The person will report to the Head of Finance.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Supporting the correct and timely booking of accounting entries for monthly preparation of reporting package
• Preparing the Monthly Reporting for the European subsidiaries of the group
• Checking correctness of AR invoices, such as VAT codes, SDI and related format
• Checking Sales summary report and preparing AR ledgers reconciliation
• Acting as support to the team for all AR related issues with internal and external parties, follow up debt collection and maintaining AR aging updated
• Preparing and assisting timely local tax declarations and filings, such as Intrastat, VAT register and stamp duty

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Management
• About 2/3 years of experience in accounting or similar roles
• Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
• Precise, proactive, organized, motivated person
• Able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially advanced Excel

The salary will be defined according to the seniority of the candidate.
