In this role you design, implement, and maintain security solutions for Schneider Electric’s automation systems, helping customers safeguard critical operations. You will work with cross‑functional teams to evaluate technologies, respond to cybersecurity issues on‑site, and support security maintenance across delivery projects. You’ll configure host/network security, oversee testing, and develop technical documentation and end‑user training. This position combines hands‑on security engineering with customer interaction to protect industrial environments and drive trusted outcomes across projects.Retribuzione / Benefits
- design, implement, and maintain security solutions for automation systems
- address customer cybersecurity queries and cases under maintenance contracts
- evaluate existing and new security technologies for Schneider Electric
- respond promptly to cybersecurity issues at customer sites in collaboration with Customer Support
- collaborate with product managers and sponsors to deploy security solutions, including site visits for maintenance, training, and consultation
- configure approved host and network security solutions and network performance management tools
- oversee network element modifications and reconfigurations
- manage installation and connectivity testing of security solutions and lead security‑focused application acceptance testing
- develop and deliver end‑user training and create required technical documentation
- collaborate with automatization engineers delivering Schneider Electric Advanced Automatization solutions
- Degree in a computer‑related field
- CCNA Security, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISA99, or IC32-34 certification
- experience with network topology and configuring network equipment (preferably Cisco, Hirschmann, Schneider)
- knowledge of installing/managing network‑based firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper or other leading products)
- understanding of high availability network technologies
- experience in mixed environments of standard and non‑standard TCP/IP protocols, plus LAN and WAN technologies
- initial experience in Industrial Control System OT
- willingness to travel and be on call for customer support rotation
