As our European energy business continues to grow, we are looking for a customer-focused Solution Engineer to help translate complex technical requirements into reliable and commercially relevant charging solutions. /p h3Role Purpose /h3 pThe Solution Engineer provides pre-sales technical support and solution consulting for customers, partners, and internal commercial teams. The role is responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing suitable EV charging solutions, presenting technical concepts, and coordinating with Product Management and RD to validate solution feasibility. The Solution Engineer supports opportunities from early technical discovery through solution validation and project handover, while helping improve products, tools, and working processes through structured market and customer feedback. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Pre-sales Technical Support /h3 ul liProvide technical consultation and pre-sales support to customers, distributors, service partners, and internal sales teams. /li liLead technical discovery discussions to understand customer use cases, site conditions, operational requirements, and integration needs. /li liRespond to technical questions, requests for information, and solution-related sections of tenders or customer proposals. /li liSupport product demonstrations, technical workshops, customer meetings, and industry events. /li /ul h3Solution Design and Presentation /h3 ul liDesign and recommend suitable AC and DC charging solutions based on customer requirements and applicable charging scenarios. /li liPrepare and present solution concepts, system architecture, product configuration, and technical value propositions. /li liSupport solution sizing, product selection, interface definition, and basic integration planning. /li liEnsure proposed solutions are technically feasible, clearly documented, and aligned with current product capabilities. /li /ul h3Technical Coordination and Project Support /h3 ul liCoordinate with Product Management, RD, Technical Support, Service, and Project Delivery teams to validate customer solutions. /li liProvide technical coordination during solution validation, pilot activities, and project implementation handover. /li liIdentify technical dependencies, risks, and gaps, and support the definition of mitigation actions. /li liMaintain clear technical communication with customers and internal stakeholders until open solution topics are resolved. /li /ul h3Customer and Partner Enablement /h3 ul liBuild trusted technical relationships with customers, channel partners, installers, and service providers. /li liDeliver product and solution training for customers and partners where required. /li liSupport certifications, workshops, proof-of-concept activities, and other solution-related internal initiatives. /li liPromote consistent technical positioning and effective use of Autel products and solution capabilities. /li /ul h3Product Feedback and Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liCollect and structure customer, partner, and market feedback for Product Management and RD. /li liSupport product improvements by identifying recurring technical needs, integration gaps, and usability issues. /li liContribute to the development of reusable solution documentation, technical presentations, FAQs, and best-practice materials. /li liRecommend improvements to internal pre-sales and solution engineering processes. /li /ul h3Key Success Measures /h3 ul liQuality, accuracy, and responsiveness of pre-sales technical support. /li liConversion of customer requirements into feasible and competitive solution designs. /li liEffectiveness of technical presentations, workshops, and solution validation activities. /li liTimely resolution of knowledge sharing. /li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 h3Education and Experience /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline. /li libRequired 3+ years of relevant experience /b of experience in solution engineering, pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, application engineering, or another customer-facing technical role. /li liExperience in EV charging, energy, electrical infrastructure, automotive, mobility, renewable energy, or a related industry is preferred. /li liExperience working with international customers, partners, or cross-functional technical teams is an advantage. /li /ul h3Technical Knowledge /h3 ul liGood understanding of EV charging systems, including common AC and DC charging scenarios. /li liFamiliarity with OCPP and charging infrastructure communication or integration concepts. /li liAbility to understand electrical and system-level requirements and translate them into practical customer solutions. /li liAbility to read and explain technical documentation, specifications, system diagrams, and product configuration information. /li liKnowledge of local electrical standards, grid requirements, or charging regulations is an advantage. /li /ul h3Core Competencies /h3 ul liStrong customer-facing communication, presentation, and technical consulting skills. /li liStructured problem-solving and the ability to manage several technical priorities in parallel. /li liProactive, reliable, and detail-oriented working style with strong ownership. /li liCommercial awareness and the ability to balance customer needs with technical feasibility and product capability. /li /ul h3Languages and Travel /h3 ul liFluent English is required. /li liItalian is/are required or strongly preferred. /li liAdditional European languages are an advantage. /li liMandarin is preferred. /li /ul h3Role Scope and Boundaries /h3 ul liThis is primarily a pre-sales and solution engineering role; it does not carry direct sales quota ownership unless explicitly stated. /li liThe role supports technical solution definition and project handover but is not the sole owner
