BeyondTrust Technical Specialist (IAM / PAM)

SixteenFifty is a specialist digital and technology talent consultancy representing a global organisation undergoing a large-scale digital transformation.

Our client is seeking an experienced BeyondTrust Technical Specialist (IAM / PAM) to support and optimise a recently implemented Privileged Access Management solution within a complex enterprise environment.

This role will play a key part in ensuring the effective operation, security, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s access management landscape.

This is a long-term B2B contract opportunity, initially through to the end of the year, with strong potential for extension. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Milan.

The BeyondTrust Technical Specialist will be responsible for:

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the BeyondTrust platform
• Supporting configuration, optimisation and ongoing enhancements of the solution
• Ensuring secure and efficient privileged access management across the organisation
• Working closely with internal IT and security teams to improve access controls and governance
• Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support related to IAM / PAM processes
• Supporting integration with broader IT systems and infrastructure where required
• Driving best practices across identity and access management, with a focus on security and compliance
• Monitoring system performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong hands-on experience with BeyondTrust (essential)
• Solid background in Identity & Access Management (IAM), particularly Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Experience working in enterprise environments with complex security and access requirements
• Good understanding of access governance, authentication, and security best practices
• Experience supporting and optimising IAM tools in a live production environment
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of platform performance and improvements
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams
