We are looking for a Category Buyer highly motivated to join our team. If you have a strong passion for the food industry and experience in the meat sector , this could be the professional opportunity you've been looking for.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire purchasing process for the meat category, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management with existing suppliers;
• Constantly monitor the market and identify emerging trends, cost opportunities, and new sources of supply;
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to optimize product quality, costs, and availability;
• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure a diversified meat assortment suited to the needs of the company's business;
• Conduct detailed analysis of category performance, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and propose corrective actions;
• Maintain clear and regular communication with various company departments, including logistics, marketing, and tenders, to ensure efficient management of the flow of goods and a competitive pricing strategy;
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies regarding quality and sustainability.

Requirements:

• Experience in the purchasing sector with a focus on the meat category is preferable, but we also positively evaluate those who are new to their experience with a desire to learn and grow in the sector;
• Knowledge of the meat market, including product varieties, suppliers, and pricing dynamics preferred;
• Negotiation skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
