Your work will enable the AI algorithms and data science products that power our platform. /ph3As a Senior Data Engineer at Cardo AI you will /h3ulliDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Apache Spark and Airflow /liliOptimize SQL queries running on Trino /liliLead large scale data lakehouse and analytics projects with high business impact /liliProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers on data engineering best practices /liliCollaborate closely with Data Science and Product teams to deliver robust data solutions /liliBuild and maintain automated data workflows and cloud infrastructure on AWS (S3, Glue, EKS) /liliEvaluate new technologies and tools to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability of data systems /li /ulh3Required Skills /h3ulliStrong command of relational databases (Postgres) and advanced SQL with query performance tuning experience /liliExtensive experience building ETL pipelines using Apache Spark and orchestrating workflows with Apache Airflow /liliDeep knowledge of AWS data and compute services: Aurora, Athena, S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, etc. /liliStrong understanding of data engineering design principles, data modeling, and pipeline architecture /liliExperience mentoring and providing technical leadership to other engineers /liliFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform (preferred) /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) /liliFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) /liliKnowledge of data lake architectures and semi-structured data sources /li /ulh3Why Cardo AI? /h3pJoining Cardo AI is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to make a real impact.
