Join us to be part of an innovative environment where your growth is our priority, and experience the numerous advantages of being a valued member of our team /p pWe are currently looking for a bDispatcher /b who will join our team based in Vado Ligure and will be hired to work on shifts. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liTo ensure that all operations are executed in accordance to the priorities set by the Shift Manager, /li liTo report any problem in operations and to implement the agreed changes to solve the problems; /li liTo ensure the optimum utilization of all equipment; /li liTo ensure smooth and speedy movement of containers to and/or from rail siding and external road traffic vehicles transfer area; /li liTo update the system with equipment identification on a continual basis; /li liTo monitors the dispatch queues to identify potential clashes and delays in the yard; /li liTo manually dispatche work instructions that are not in an automatic dispatch queue; /li liResponsible to elaborate reports requested by the management; /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liHigh school diploma and a college degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or related discipline; /li liItalian at mothertoungue level, proficiency with English language /li liLean-minded: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day. /li liIn depth knowledge of logistics, yard planning/lay-out and container terminal operations; /li liEffective analytical, numeracy, reporting and problem-solving skills; /li liProactive approach to improve systems and procedures that will lead to operational efficiency; /li liHigh level of planning and organizational skills; /li liAble to work in a team /li liFlexibility /li liAccuracy /li /ul h3Job location /h3 pVado Ligure, no relocation or VISA support provided. /p h3Job contract /h3 pInternship or Traineeship /p pMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
