Learn more at and on LinkedIn and X. /p pPrincipal Design Evaluation Engineer /p pConsumer Custom Silicon (CSS) Team /p h3The Group /h3 pThe charter of the CSS team is to lead the market in selected technology domains with highly differentiated sensing and signal processing solutions. /p pToday these technology areas include Capacitive Sensing, Optical Image Stabilization, Optical Sensing and Power that drive growth in our portable and non-portable consumer business. As part of our expanding business needs we are now seeking to fill key positions within the team. /p h3The Position /h3 pThe CSS group is currently seeking a Design Evaluation Engineer to work on the development of the measurement solution and the evaluation of new products from the fields described above. /p pThe successful candidate will work closely with the Design, Applications and Test teams to conduct the evaluation of the assigned products and, also, on the development of new measurement solutions and methodologies to guarantee the required accuracy to ensure compliance with the product specification and to minimize the measurement time. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liWork closely with the Design, Design Evaluation, Applications and Test teams to determine the required tests for the evaluation of new products. /li liDevelop the hardware and software evaluation capability for new products as part of the wider Design Evaluation team. /li liConduct pre-determined testing on new silicon, do post-processing and careful analysis of the results, and compile reports for each test. /li liIdentify functional and performance limitations of silicon down to root cause. /li liDevelop new measurement solutions and methodologies to place the team a step forward in terms of measurement capabilities. /li /ul h3The Candidate /h3 pThe candidate should have a strong knowledge of Analogue and Digital Electronics, be proactive, self-motivated, capable of accepting responsibility, and show initiative in identifying and solving challenging technical problems. The ideal candidate should have: /p ul li15+ years’ experience in an Engineering measurement role. /li liDegree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. /li liStrong Python (or similar) programming skills. /li liStrong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills. /li liHigh coordination and leadership skills. /li liPCB design/layout experience. /li liExperience on Power testing methodologies would be valued. /li /ul pFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
