About The Role

Technical Sales Engineer position in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan), Italy. Provide technical sales support and prepare customized quotations for industrial valves and related products for End Users, EPC contractors, and OEMs in industrial and process plant sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support for highly customized industrial valves and related products to End Users, EPC contractors, and OEM customers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to prepare technical and commercial quotations aligned with customer requirements.
• Review and follow up on quotations, monitor delivery requirements, and manage related technical documentation.
• Support the achievement of sales targets and profitability objectives through proactive commercial and technical contributions.
• Provide technical advice and customer support, helping clients identify the most suitable solutions for their operational needs.
• Work closely with colleagues across Valmet’s global network to ensure effective and coordinated customer support.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience in technical sales, sales support, application engineering, proposal engineering, inside sales, or similar technical-commercial roles.
• Good command of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in industrial instrumentation, valves, flow control, process automation, or process industries is considered a plus.
