Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Product Manager to support the development and growth of the MV Switchgears (1,5kV – 40.5kV) line of business across EMEA, with clear ownership of product lifecycle, market requirements, profitability, sales enablement, and go‑to‑market execution. The successful candidate will concentrate on the strategic and operational management of the MV Switchgears portfolio (1,5kV – 40.5kV), ensuring alignment with customer needs, regional market opportunities, and the company’s overall EMEA and global product strategy. /ph3Duties Responsibilities /h3ulliManage the full lifecycle of the MV Switchgears portfolio, including new product introduction (NPDI process), line extensions, product updates, rationalization, and end‑of‑production planning (phase‑in / phase‑out process). /liliGather and prioritise customer, channel, and market requirements through direct engagement with sales teams, consultants, contractors, distributors, and end users. /liliDefine and communicate voice‑of‑customer requirements and support product business cases for new developments and enhancements. /liliResearch market trends, demand drivers, specification practices, and competitor positioning in MV switchgear markets. /liliDevelop regional go‑to‑market plans and support sales and marketing strategies to maximise portfolio revenue and profitability. /liliManage product line profitability, pricing guidance, forecast assumptions, and corrective actions to support business targets. /liliSupport sales teams on technical positioning, product education, competitive comparisons, and major project opportunities requiring deep application knowledge. /liliPrepare and deliver technical presentations, product training, launch materials, and sales enablement collateral for internal and external stakeholders. /liliWork with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve lead time, availability, quality, and lifecycle support of the MV portfolio. /liliCollaborate with consultants and contractors, in coordination with Technical Sales, to help secure inclusion of MV switch‑gear solutions within project specifications. /liliAttend trade shows, conferences, customer visits, and other relevant events to strengthen market visibility and gather market intelligence. /liliCommunicate regularly with senior management and provide periodic updates on product performance, market developments, pipeline quality, win rate and strategic opportunities. /li /ulh3Essential Criteria /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred (such as MS.c etc.). /liliAt least 5 years’ previous experience in product management, technical marketing, application engineering, or strategic business development within power distribution or adjacent electrical infrastructure markets. /liliStrong knowledge of MV switchgear technologies (1,5kV – 40.5kV), applications, customer requirements, and procurement procedures within the industry. /liliDemonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product roadmaps, business cases, and commercial actions. /liliStrong commercial acumen with the ability to manage growth, profitability, pricing, and portfolio priorities. /liliEnglish business proficiency (at least C1) is a requirement. /liliExceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop technical and commercial presentations. /liliProven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders across sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and supply chain. /liliProficient in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems such as CRM and planning tools. /liliMotivated, professional, self‑driven, and goal‑oriented approach. /liliAbility to travel across the region as required. /li /ulh3Equal Opportunity Employer /h3pVertiv is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
