If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job TitleEnterprise Technical ArchitectAbout your role:Fiserv is looking for an Enterprise Technical Architect with in-depth and current hands-on full stack technical development experiences in Java, Cloud, Web, UI and mobile technologies as well as exposure to Domain Driven Designs, Event Based Architecture, API and micro services architecture. You must be passionate about new technologies and demonstrate working knowledge in various technologies across Cloud, UI, Application, Security and Data architecture domains. You will join the Fiserv’s Global Issuer organization’s Architecture team to lead and build new cloud native applications. The ideal candidate will be required to work in a cross functional environment in defining and building end-to-end solutions. Relevant digital solutions experience in the Payments and Card Issuing solutions domain is essential.What you’ll do:As the Enterprise Technical Architect you are expected to have experience in a broad range of application engineering patterns, tools and frameworks that can be leveraged to complement to the product’s architecture.You will have a very strong history of working closely with both internal and external stakeholders and to be able to discuss and articulate solutions from the business perspective as well as at a detailed technical level.You will be responsible in leading the overall application’s high-level designs; overseeing the lower-level designs and applying engineering standards across the development which can be across multiple workstreams.You will manage the implementation across the full project lifecycle from the gathering and interpreting requirements into technical designs; creation of technical specifications and leading the change through the developing and testing phases until deployment.Experience you’ll need to have:10+ years of related IT experience, designing and deploying enterprise-level business or technical applicationsWorking experience of a wide range and expert on some of distributed and cloud technologies with experience of their integration and configuration: e.g. Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP); Containerisation (Kubernetes/OpenShift); Microservices; Kafka; Java/JavaScript; Quarkus/Spring frameworks; distributed databases (Postgres/ Yugabtye/ RDS/ Aurora); API gateways (Apigee/Mulesoft /etc.), UI (Angular JS/ React/ HTML/ HTMX/ CSS3); DevOps (CI/CD); XML/JSON, Mobile and Application Middleware (ESB/ Datapower), PhoneGap/ IOS/Android SDKs, etcStrong understanding of mobile and web app security concepts, session management, performance tuning, automated testing techniques, high availability engineering, and database technologies for mobile and web apps.Working knowledge of cryptography, key management, and security solutions on both mobile and server side with understanding of security protocols and cryptography including PKI, SSL, RSA, authentication, encryption, digital signatures.Strong knowledge of emerging technologies with good understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business.Possesses strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools, methodologies as well as all functional areas in an IT organization. Excellent level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues.Functional and technical specifications, coding, and testing and / or application support including strong understanding of mobile and web app, security concepts, session management, performance tuning, automated testing techniques, high availability engineering, and database technologies for mobile and web apps.Demonstrated experience in both agile/scrum and waterfall life cycle application development.Experience and comfort in mentoring junior staffExperience that would be great to have:Some working experience working with any other payment solutions including mainframe environment would be of advantage.Salary starting at 79,920 - negotiable depending on experienceThank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
