- # AI & Data Science EngineerApplylocations: ITA - BA - BITRITTOtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 51565123**Job Description:**DXC Technology is looking for **Data Scientist** to support in AI and **Generative AI** projects, contributing to practical solutions and improving business processes through ML models, NLP and intelligent automation.**Key Responsibilities:*** Support the design and implementation of AI solutions, including machine learning models, NLP, and computer vision applications.* Collaborate with senior team members to understand client requirements and translate them into practical AI solutions.* Assist in presales activities, including preparing technical materials and contributing to client presentations.* Stay up-to-date on AI trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to support solution development.* Participate in small-scale AI solution projects or tasks, gaining hands-on experience in real client environments.**Requirements:*** 2-5 years of experience in Gen AI projects.* Good knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.* Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions, including design and implementation.**Nice to Have:*** Experience with Agentic AI approaches or platforms.* Previous involvement in presales or solution support tasks.**Location:** Bari with smart working possibility**Why Join Us****Offer Package**The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €38,000.Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l’industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsability, experience and skills.* Health Insurance* Permanent disability by accident coverage* Life and permanent disability by accident coverage* Meal vouchers* Supplemental Pension Plan* Smart Working Agreement* Employee Discounts Program**Continuous Learning**Access learning platforms and take part in skill development programs designed for you.**Refer & Earn**Help us find great talent through the Employee Referral Program and get rewarded for your contribution.**Career Development**DXC promotes professional growth and internal mobility by making every open position accessible to all employees.
