Senior Cloud Developer (Azure/MS Data Fabric/Collibra)

Overview

In this role you design and implement a cloud foundation for a major automotive client, enabling secure, compliant workloads and a data mesh with AI-ready datasets. You work cross-functionally to define governance and data-sharing models, and you contribute to the AI Labs layer for self-serve data access. The role emphasizes iterative delivery, domain ownership, and collaboration with stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives. You will shape architecture, platforms, and governance to scale data-driven applications in the cloud.

Responsabilità

• Integrate Collibra with Microsoft Fabric and assess Fabric capabilities for data provisioning
• Manage Fabric-native catalog and discovery features
• Oversee metadata management and maintain business glossary
• Enable data product discovery and data shopping processes
• Govern governance, access controls, and data protection policies
• Lead PoC initiatives and validate Fabric architecture
• Design components such as OneLake, data mesh, and semantic layers
• Develop cloud architecture strategies focused on security, scalability, and compliance
• Advise stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic objectives
• Design and implement governance automation leveraging modern cloud practices
• Lead collaboration with business, development, and infrastructure teams
• Produce architecture decisions, documentation, and implement DevOps with IaC, CI/CD, and automated deployments
• Coordinate team resources and deliver work within Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban)

Requisiti fondamentali

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, Azure AD, Governance, Functions, Automation, Monitor, Fabric, Foundry, Purview)
• Experience architecting and deploying software at scale using Agile methodologies
• Proficient in at least two languages (C#, PowerShell, Python)
• Customer-facing experience with senior stakeholders, trade-offs, and risk mitigation
• Deep understanding of IaC (Azure ARM Templates, Terraform a plus)
• Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD with Azure DevOps
• Good grasp of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing)
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management (security, privacy)
• Strong communication skills in English
