Data Scientist – AI & Generative AI Projects
DXC Technology is looking for a Data Scientist to support AI and Generative AI projects, contributing to practical solutions and improving business processes through ML models, NLP, and intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of AI solutions, including machine learning models, NLP, and computer vision applications.
- Collaborate with senior team members to understand client requirements and translate them into practical AI solutions.
- Assist in presales activities, including preparing technical materials and contributing to client presentations.
- Stay up-to-date on AI trends and emerging technologies, and apply knowledge to support solution development.
- Participate in small-scale AI solution projects or tasks, gaining hands‑on experience in real client environments.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in Generative AI projects.
- Good knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions, including design and implementation.
- Nice to have: experience with Agentic AI approaches or platforms.
- Previous involvement in presales or solution support tasks.
Location
Rome or Milan with smart‑working possibility.
