La nostra tecnologia inizia con te… /p h3About The Role /h3 pAs an bApplication Engineer in the Power Conversion /b area, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of complete power converter solutions, helping expand the value of ST products across the Industrial, Automotive, and Datacenter Infrastructure segments. /p pYou will play a key role in the development of innovative digital solutions and advanced control algorithms at system level, supporting the growth of ST intellectual property and helping bring new products and technical solutions to market. /p pThis role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, Divisional and Regional Application Labs, and internal stakeholders to support the development of next-generation power conversion systems, strengthen ST’s market position, and anticipate competitor solutions. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liDesign and implement power conversion projects such as demo boards, promotional tools, and reference designs, in agreement with the Power Conversion Manager. /li liUse engineering tools such as OrCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, and AI-based design assistants to support project development. /li liContribute to the creation of new intellectual property, including patents, innovative system solutions, and new technical know-how. /li liInvestigate emerging application fields and help define technical specifications for new products. /li liSupport Divisional and Regional Application Labs in product definition, validation, and system-level testing. /li liCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support customer needs and application development. /li liParticipate in knowledge-sharing activities such as webinars, technical trainings, technical papers, and conferences. /li /ul h3Job Requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. /li liIdeally 1–2 years of experience in ST, including internships or trainee programs. /li liBasic knowledge of power converter topologies and experience in converter design. /li liBasic knowledge of the main technologies used in power electronics. /li liStrong knowledge of control theory, supported by mathematical modeling for power converters at system level. /li liProgramming experience in the STM32 ecosystem for embedded firmware development, including CubeMX, CubeIDE, or IAR, with knowledge of C language. /li liBasic knowledge of PCB layout and schematic design tools such as OrCAD or KiCad. /li liGood IT skills, especially in the Microsoft 365 environment, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. /li liStrong knowledge of simulation tools such as MATLAB toolboxes, Simulink, Simscape, Simetrix, and SPICE. /li liBasic knowledge of analog electronics and signal conditioning circuits. /li liHands‑on experience with laboratory instruments for application debug and testing, such as power supplies, power meters, oscilloscopes, and related tools. /li liStrong technical writing skills for preparing documentation. /li liA collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving attitude, and willingness to work in a team. /li liGood command of English, both written and spoken. /li /ul pThe expected salary range for this position is €35.000 – €45.000 gross annual salary (RAL), plus variable pay relevant for the role. /p pIn accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and applicable Italian legislation, this compensation range has been determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including job responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks. Placement within the range will depend on the candidate’s profile and demonstrated competencies..
