Ai Software Engineer

You’ll have the opportunity to work within our Information System & Digital team, contributing to the development of innovative solutions based on generative AI models, integrating them into scalable architectures, and bringing them into production. You will also be involved in building shared libraries and frameworks used by multiple teams, requiring a collaborative and sharing-oriented approach. Your ability to interface with business, understand project requirements, and actively contribute to the spread of GenAI culture within the organization will be key.Your missions
Implement solutions in Python leveraging generative AI modelsStructure cloud projects based on serverless architectures, mainly on AWSExpose solutions via APIs, making them accessible to external systems and clientsManage CI/CD pipelines and use Docker for packaging and deploymentDesign and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) with TerraformContribute to the development of shared libraries and frameworks for internal useDocument solutions, share results, and contribute to the architectural evolution of the system
Your profile
Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related fieldsProficiency in PythonProven experience in the use of generative AI models (e.G., prompt engineering, RAG) in real projectsFamiliarity with tools for managing embeddings and semantic search, such as PineconeExperience in designing and implementing APIsPractical experience on AWS, especially with serverless servicesExperience with Terraform, CI/CD, and DockerApplied research mindset, experimentation, and rapid prototypingAbility to work in a team and contribute to shared solutionsAvailability for occasional travel to Milan or Bologna officesEnglish good. Italian fluent or native.
